24Kay: A Star On The Rise
Brooklyn-born rapper Kendrick Fludd Jr., better known as 24Kay, is carving his lane in hip-hop with a grind that stretches from New York to the South. Raised in Charleston, South Carolina, after his father’s military service relocated the family, 24Kay eventually touched down in Atlanta as a teenager. It was there that his rap dreams began to take form.
A graduate of Lithonia High School—a place that’s also seen names like Soulja Boy’s brother John Way and rapper Drugrixh Hect—24Kay put in the work early, sharpening his skills and earning his stripes in the Atlanta scene. His persistence paid off with major opportunities, from touring alongside Project Pat to securing a spot on the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI soundtrack, set to drop in 2026.
The next big step came when 24Kay signed with Hoodrich Management, a pivotal move that expanded his reach and industry connections. Soon after, he landed a role in Zaytoven’s Birds of a Feather 2, sharing screen time with Kash Doll, Lil Scrappy, and Metro Boomin. The film appearance amplified his profile while putting his name in front of new audiences.
24Kay’s momentum hasn’t slowed. He’s made his presence felt at Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta events and has hit the stage opening for East Atlanta’s own Young Nudy. Known for his animated performances, 24Kay often freestyles the bulk of his set, giving fans a raw and authentic experience that keeps them engaged.
With charisma, hustle, and an understanding of consistency, 24Kay continues to invest time and energy into his music. His journey from Brooklyn streets to Atlanta stages reflects the hunger of an artist unwilling to settle, marking him as a name to watch in hip-hop’s next wave.
