Kendrick Lamar and SZA have unveiled the music video for their chart-topping collaboration, “Luther,” a standout track from Lamar’s 2024 album GNX. Released on April 11, 2025, the video is directed by Karena Evans, known for her work on Drake’sIn My Feelings” and Coldplay’sEveryday Life.”

The visual narrative unfolds in a luxury hotel setting, where Lamar and SZA are seen with their respective partners—Lamar with Nigerian-American artist Annahstasia Enuke, and SZA with model Geron McKinley. The video culminates with a poignant scene of the duo sitting together on a bench, as Luther Vandross’s original “If This World Were Mine” plays, the very sample that underpins the track.

The song, a modern R&B and hip-hop ballad, features vocal harmonies over 808 drum patterns and orchestral arrangements, with lyrics envisioning a better future for loved ones.

The release of the “Luther” video precedes the duo’s Grand National Tour, which commenced on April 19, 2025, in Minneapolis. The tour features a 52-song setlist, including collaborations and solo performances from both artists.
