Loe Shimmy Heats Up December with Steamy Ballad “Lost & Found”
He has enjoyed a breakout year in 2025, but rising hitmaker Loe Shimmy isn’t finished yet. The Broward County native prepares to release the ‘Deluxe Edition’ of Rockstar Junkie, his hit 2025 album, on December 19th via Rebel/gamma.
To properly prepare fans for his next batch of woozily melodic bangers, Loe Shimmy shares “Lost & Found,” his new single. Swimming beneath liquid keyboard pads and toe-tagging the skittering digital drums, Loe Shimmy enters lothario mode, seductively speaking to the object of his affections with raspy-voiced come ons. The breakout artist works rubbery flows in his higher register to increase his hypnotic qualities. The new music video is a perfect accompaniment to the song’s smoky late night vibes, as Shimmy spends an eventful evening in a neon-lit Miam iBeach. “Lost & Found” follows November’s high-flying “Crank Up Da Jet” on the road to the upcoming Deluxe.
Released in July 2025, Rockstar Junkie spans an epic 26 tracks without flagging in energy or quality. Rockstar Junkie immerses listeners in Shimmy’s world, with see-sawing beats, from Florida sound architects like DxnteMadeIt and others, their instrumentals swirling around Shimmy’s croaking melodies in hypnotic fashion. Rockstar Junkie highlight “3am” ft. Don Toliver is having a major moment, with over 7.7 million YouTube views since September and more than 29 million Spotify streams to date. In November, “3am” reached #100 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the rising artist’s second appearance on the chart in two years.
Since emerging in Broward County earlier in the 2020s, Loe Shimmy has developed a reputation for being one of the most consistent and prolific rappers of his generation.
