Real Boston Richey is back.

Richey may be launching a fresh new campaign, but his #MakeTrickingGreatAgain mantra is omnipresent on “Mr. Pay For Sh*t,” which continues Richey’s theme of not being afraid of spending big on deserving souls. “Excuse me baby girl, how you doing, I’m Mr. Pay For Sh*t” he raps on the boisterous new anthem. “He told you wait ‘til Friday, over here, you ain’t gotta wait for sh*t.” Over rumbling production from Mac Fly, Richey reinforces his status as Florida’s most measured and impactful slick talker: vulnerable enough to speak to the depths of his personality but unafraid to puff his chest out when it’s braggadocio time.
Real Boston Richey’s short-lived hiatus from dropping music—”Mr. Pay For Sh*t” is the rapper’s first single since last year’s “Get In There”—was hard-earned. During a blistering period spanning just over a year from 2023 to 2024, he released his coveted debut album, Welcome to Bubbaland, and its follow-up, the sophomore album Richey Rich. The tandem elevated Richey from cult fanhood to national stardom, including “Help Me,” the viral-turned-Billboard hit that gave Richey the first Top 50 Hot 100 hit of his career.

Richey collaborated with YTB Fatt, Lil Yachty and others during his transcendent run, but his rapport with GloRilla proved to be extra rewarding. After appearing on Glo’s 2024 Ehhthang, Ehhthang EP, on “Bad Bih 4 Ya,” Richey invited GloRilla to feature on Richey Rich, and the result was another viral hit, “Get In There,” which has been viewed over 12M times on YouTube and has powered hundreds-of-thousands of TikTok creates. Subsequently, Richey joined GloRilla’s headlining tour, The Glorious Tour, as a supporting act during a two-month run from March to April 2025, treating Glorilla’s welcoming audience to his tales of opulent generosity.
Now, Richey is supercharged and ready to hit the ground running yet again, and nothing can stop the program. Public Housing 3 is coming soon and “Mr. Pay For Sh*t” is here.
