Kodak Black Collapses Mid-Set in Tampa, Show Ends After Five Songs

Kodak Black’s Halloween show in Tampa ended in a way nobody wanted to see. During the Nightmare on Channelside concert at Benchmark International Arena, video from the crowd shows Kodak falling to the stage mid-performance, with people around him rushing in as the show came to a stop.
Reports say the set was short — about 15 minutes and five songs, including “Versatile,” “Skrilla,” “ZEZE,” “Roll in Peace,” and “Skrt” — before it ended. The bill was a big Halloween night lineup, with Meek Mill and DaBaby also advertised for the show.
Here is what we do not know, and we are not going to guess: as of Monday, nobody from Kodak’s camp and nobody from the venue has publicly explained what happened, and there has been no official update on his condition. The video shows the fall. It does not show what caused it, and anybody telling you they know the cause right now is making it up.
What is real is the reaction. Fans who were in the building and fans watching the clip online flooded social media with concern and prayers for the Florida rapper, and the footage has been moving across every platform since the weekend.
Kodak is one of the most gifted artists of his generation, full stop — and he has carried a lot in the public eye for a long time. Right now the only story that matters is that he is okay. Soon as his people speak, we will run it here first. Until then: prayers up for Yak.
