Yung Miami Receives The Key To The City And Her Own Day In Miami
Hometown love, officially stamped. Yung Miami was honored on stage Saturday night (Nov 7) at the America n Miami Veterans & Small Business Festival, presented by Jazz in the Heights, where she received the key to the city and a framed proclamation declaring her own day in Miami.

Miami-Dade County Vice Chairman Kionne McGhee was among the officials on stage for the presentation — his name lit up the backdrop as one presenter handed Caresha the boxed key and another held the framed proclamation beside her. She took the mic in a pink mini-dress, thanked the crowd, and kicked off a brief performance as the audience filmed the moment.
The honor lands in the middle of her solo run: her debut solo album, Watch Dis!, arrived October 23, led by “Spend Dat.” Years after the City Girls put Miami back on the map, the city just handed one of its own the keys — and a day with her name on it.
