Adam22 Wasn’t the Plus-One — Drake Told Lena “22 Needs to Be There”

The internet tried to run a story that Adam22 got into Drake’s 40th birthday party as his wife’s plus-one. Only problem? According to Adam himself, that’s not how it went down at all.

On No Jumper, Adam broke down the invite himself. Drake sent the party flyer to Lena The Plug — not Adam. When Lena asked if she should only bring girls or if she could bring Adam, Drake’s answer, per Adam, was simple: “22 needs to be there.” That’s not a plus-one. That’s a demand.

So where did the plus-one talk come from? The party itself. Adam says Akademiks walked up to him at the party and asked him to his face, “So, you’re HER plus one?” — and Lena played along with the joke. A fan clip ran with that framing, Rory & Mal kicked it around on their show, and the narrative was off to the races before Adam ever got to tell his side.

What nobody debates: the couple pulled up to both New York nights of Drake’s 40th — Casa Cipriani on Friday, Delilah on Saturday — and Lena used the weekend to hard-launch their reconciliation with a “second chance” post celebrating 10 years. This is also the same saga that gave us Drake’s 20v1 stream over the summer, where Lena was a finalist. Drake has been orbiting this storyline for months, and every time, he’s the one setting the terms.

Keep it a stack, though: the DM exchange is Adam’s account — no screenshot has surfaced, and Drake hasn’t said a word publicly. And the separate claim floating around from Akademiks, that Drake dropped $500K on a gift for Lena? Nobody has confirmed that. Treat it as talk until somebody shows a receipt.

So who really won the weekend — Drake for running the whole board, Lena for the relaunch, or Adam for surviving the plus-one jokes with his invite hand-delivered by the host himself? Y’all argue it out in the comments.
