Beyond Bleaf’s Grand Opening Was a Whole Vibe—Black Women Got the Game on Lock

If you missed the Beyond Bleaf grand opening, go ahead and add it to your list of Ls. Because West Milford was on tilt Memorial Day Weekend—and it was all thanks to three queens who flipped the script on the cannabis industry.

Luciana, Latasha, and Tarsha did what most talk about and never do: opened up their own dispensary in a male-dominated space—and did it their way. From the minute the ribbon dropped, it was up. DJs on deck, the smell of good weed in the air, and the type of crowd that made it feel like summer came early.

DJ Drewski brought the NYC energy, while DJ KRock repped for Jersey like only he can. It was a cookout-meets-kickback-meets-‘let’s make history’ kind of day.

“This was never about just selling product,” said publicist Lynn Hobson. “It was about letting people see what happens when Black women stop waiting on permission and go get it.”

Folks didn’t just show up—they showed out. Hoodies, heels, suits, and slides—all under one tent, all supporting Black business. This is what culture looks like when we move as a unit.
