Jadasea Releases New Album “Holly Grove”

Fresh off of sharing a final album teaser in “Spliff N Yak” earlier this week, South London’s Jadasea releases his new album “Holly Grove” via 10k Global. Two years in the making, the rapper’s new album is a distillation of the quiet influence he’s had on underground music across London and New York over the past decade.

The album features 10k labelmates MIKE, Anysia Kym and duendita, as well as fellow South Londoner John Glacier and a cadre of underground hip-hop’s most innovative producers like SURF GANG’s Harrison and Elipeopperr, Tony Seltzer, Laron, Niontay, redLee, Anysia Kym, Flea Diamonds, Omari Lyseight, randomblackdude and Santiago Sounds.

An integral figure in the South London hip-hop scene, Holly Grove is Jadasea’s latest full-length project since 2024’s Too Many Tears. In that two years since his last solo project, he’s popped up on standout songs from projects by his 10k labelmates, including “Poltergeist” on Niontay’sFada<3of$” and “Da Bid” on POMPEII // UTILITY, MIKE, Earl Sweatshirt and SURF GANG’s show-stopping double album released earlier this Spring. Jadasea also joined Earl on a stint of his Live Laugh Love tour earlier this year.

Jadasea Releases New Album "Holly Grove"

Jadasea has quietly built a bulletproof discography and been influential in building a community of musicians in South London. He first emerged as part of Sub Luna City, an unsung band of musicians that included Jadasea’s childhood friend and collaborator King Krule, Rago Foot and Black Mack.

He was one of the initial artists to bridge the gap between the London and US underground hip-hop scenes in the early 2010s, finding kindred spirits in New York rap trio Ratking and Earl Sweatshirt in LA.

Over that decade, Jadasea connected with MIKE and joined 10k to solidify himself as a bridge between New York and London. In 2019, Jadasea released a collaborative EP with King Krule called Half Life, and went on the following year to release Old Earth, a full collaborative project with MIKE.

Listen to Holly Grove in-full now,o and stay tuned for more from Jadasea and 10k coming soon.
