New Music: Jape – Come Alive (Prod. Prezident Jeff)
After serving up his debut single “Never Let Go” last month, and following his return from SXSW, Toronto artist Jape keeps the momentum going with the release of his latest single, “Come Alive.” Sampling Nas’ “You Owe Me,” which featured R&B crooner Ginuwine, Jape speaks about lusty sins and could-be bliss over the re-imagined Prezident Jeff beat.
“The second single from Jape’s PLAY EP, “Come Alive”, is a record that describes the relationship between two people who gave into temptation when they already knew better. It’s a moment of pure lust with no fore or afterthought towards the consequences. Sometimes, we all get a little selfish.” – Jape
“Come Alive” serves as the second single from his forthcoming PLAY EP, which will be released in the upcoming months.
