Nicki Minaj Congratulates Stephen Miller on Becoming Trump’s Chief of Staff — and Thanks the Millers for Letting Her Use Their Home

Nicki Minaj is sending her congratulations to the White House’s next chief of staff. After President Donald Trump announced Friday that Stephen Miller will take over the role, Nicki replied to a post from Miller’s wife, Katie Miller, with congratulations — and a personal thank-you for letting her use the couple’s home.

“Congratulations to the both of you! Thanks again for letting me use your home when you guys were away. I’ll never forget it. EVER,” Nicki wrote on X, as first reported by Baller Alert. “You make a very VERY strong team. All the best to your beautiful family. We’re rooting for you.”

She closed the post with a line directed at the president: “I know you’ll be the best Chief of Staff for my guy.”

Nicki did not say when she stayed at the Millers’ home or where it is located.

Her post came in reply to a message Katie Miller shared earlier Friday celebrating her husband’s promotion. Katie Miller noted that her husband has stood by Trump for 11 years and that the couple met while she was working on immigration at the Department of Homeland Security; they now have four children together. She also wrote: “Stephen loves our country and wants to make it better for our kids and yours. He means business and is ready to work. The best is yet to come.”

Trump announced the appointment on Truth Social on Friday, November 6. “I am pleased to announce that Mr. Stephen Miller, the current Deputy Chief of Staff of the Trump Administration, and one of my most trusted advisors, will become the Chief of Staff starting Monday, November 9, 2026,” Trump wrote. Miller, 41, currently serves as deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security adviser. USA Today and other outlets confirmed the Monday start date.

Miller replaces Susie Wiles, who has held the job since the start of Trump’s second term and was the first woman in the role. Wiles submitted her resignation on Thursday night, confirmed Friday was her final day, and will move over to the Trump political operation. Trump said he “wanted to make a change” and that Wiles had done a good job, while Wiles called the role “the honor of a lifetime.”

The chief of staff runs the White House’s day-to-day operation and controls access to the president. The change came just days after the midterm elections, in which Democrats took control of both the House and the Senate. Miller said he was “honored beyond words” to take the job.

Nicki’s connection with the Millers goes back months. She appeared on Katie Miller’s podcast earlier this year, and in May she defended Katie online, describing her as “a VERY rare breed.” Friday’s post shows the relationship extends beyond the podcast to a stay at the couple’s home.
