Yak Gotti Goes Off on Young Thug, 21 Savage and Lil Baby in New Chill Show Interview

Yak Gotti beat the biggest case of his life in a courtroom. Now he is fighting the rest of it on camera. In a new hour-plus interview on The Chill Show, the YSL rapper sat down to tell his side of the YSL RICO saga — and this time, he did not hold back on Young Thug, 21 Savage or Lil Baby.

Story: The Chill Show interview on YouTube; interview clips circulated by MyMixtapez and DJ Akademiks; background reporting from HotNewHipHop and HypeFresh.

Start with Thug. In clips from the interview now making the rounds, Yak makes it plain that whatever brotherhood was left is gone, saying Thug cannot “piss on me and tell me it’s rain.” That is a full turn from where he stood not long ago — in an interview clip shared by No Jumper in June 2025, Yak was still calling Thug his big brother and saying he had no problem with Gunna either. Something changed, and Yak is clearly done pretending otherwise.

He also had smoke for 21 Savage. Yak claims Savage leaked his interrogation footage while he was still on trial — the same interrogation video the internet has been chopping up and joking about ever since. That is Yak’s allegation, not a proven fact, but his point lands either way: in his eyes, people he came up with were playing with his freedom for content.

Then there is Lil Baby. Yak says Baby is the type to “throw rocks and hide his hand” — moving on people behind the scenes while playing innocent in public, and picking and choosing who he stands next to depending on how it looks.

The backdrop matters here. Yak Gotti did not take a plea. He went to trial in the YSL RICO case and was acquitted on all counts in December 2024, while Thug took a plea deal that October. And per HotNewHipHop, a leaked Young Thug record has been circulating that groups Yak in with the people Thug believes crossed him. So the man who stood in the paint and beat the case is watching his name get dragged anyway — and this interview is him dragging back.

So who is really out of line here: is Yak Gotti finally speaking his truth, or is this family business that should have never made it to the internet? Let us know in the comments.
