50 Cent Showed Up to Court on Zoom — Tia Kemp Didn’t Show Up At All

On Tuesday, November 3, 50 Cent appeared via Zoom at the Florida hearing on whether the temporary injunction protecting his 14-year-old son becomes permanent. He told the judge exactly why he’s still pushing it — and it wasn’t the order itself.

“Honestly, if she didn’t respond the way she responded to the order, I wouldn’t even continue to pursue it. But she just went off, and it continued to go in the wrong direction.”

But the hearing couldn’t get where it needed to go — because Tia Kemp wasn’t there, and per TMZ’s court reporting, she still hasn’t been formally served with the injunction. Until that happens, the court can’t move forward on making it permanent. 50’s attorneys argued she’s avoiding service.

The judge told 50 it’s his prerogative and gave him time to think it over. The matter will be revisited — the next hearing is set for December 7, roughly 30 to 45 days out.

Here’s how we got here. On October 26, a Florida judge issued the temporary order: Kemp must stay 500 feet from 50’s son and have no direct or indirect contact with him, including on social media. The order also bars her from possessing firearms and requires her to surrender them once served.

Separately, 50 filed a $6 million federal lawsuit in California — libel, slander, false-light invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The feud escalated after an early-October incident at Bethune-Cookman University involving Kemp’s adult son with Rick Ross.

And Kemp hasn’t gone quiet since the suit. She’s stayed defiant online — and recently complained she can no longer go Live on Instagram, blaming 50. He reposted her complaint.

So where does it stand? The temporary order is the protection in place while the permanent question waits on two things: getting Kemp served, and December 7.

Does this end at the next hearing — or is this just getting started?
