Keyshia Cole Says She’s Single and “Cooking Up the Greatest Rebrand of My Life” — Less Than Two Weeks After Showing Off Skrilla’s “KEYSHIA” Tattoo
Keyshia Cole has declared herself single — in her own words, “Single. Happy. Focused.”

The R&B singer took to her Instagram Story on Friday (Nov. 6), per Baller Alert, first sharing a repost that read, “It’s peaceful when you’re not interested in anyone anymore.” Underneath it, she added a message of her own:
“Currently cooking up the greatest rebrand of my life rn. Single. Happy. Focused,” she wrote, finishing the post with a small heart emoji. The Story was set to Fabolous’ “Selfish Freestyle.”
Keyshia did not name anyone in the post. Her most recent public romance was with Philadelphia rapper Skrilla, per Baller Alert. The two first sparked dating rumors back in July, after sharing intimate photos on Instagram — including one of Keyshia hugging Skrilla from behind as he took a mirror selfie, which she captioned “Yup.” Days later, she showed off roses, chocolates and a note reading, “Love u beautiful. XOXO.”
Things appeared to get even more serious on October 26, when Keyshia posted a photo of what appeared to be Skrilla’s back with “KEYSHIA” tattooed across it in large letters. “Ok !!!” she wrote, followed by, “Let that be known.”
That makes the timeline hard to miss: less than two weeks after proudly showing off the tattoo, she is announcing that she is single. Baller Alert notes that neither Keyshia nor Skrilla has said anything publicly about a split, and her post does not explain what ended, or when. It also does not spell out what the “rebrand” involves — whether that means new music, a business move or a fresh image.
What is clear is the timing on her side of it. The 45-year-old recently wrapped The Way It Is 20th Anniversary Tour, celebrating two decades since her debut album — and if her own words are the guide, whatever comes next is about her, and her alone.
Before Skrilla, Baller Alert reports, Keyshia spent much of 2024 and 2025 in an on-and-off relationship with Atlanta rapper Hunxho. This time around, though, she says she is not looking, not entertaining anyone, and focused on herself.
So what do you think the “greatest rebrand” looks like for Keyshia Cole — new music, a new look, or a whole new chapter? Let us know in the comments.
