Nicki Minaj Fires Off a 13-Point Victory Lap After Democrats Take Congress — “Trump Is STILL Your President”

Nicki Minaj had time tonight.
A day after Democrats took back both the House and the Senate in the midterms, the Queens rapper jumped on X (Wednesday, November 4, 9:01 PM) with a 13-point list she titled “Couple things” — and the first point set the tone for all of it: “Trump is STILL your PRESIDENT.”
From there she declared that the Queen is still your obsession and that Jesus is still Lord, shouted out the Vice President’s insight, and congratulated all the winners — especially Rep. Anna Paulina Luna and Byron Donalds, two Republicans who won on the night her side lost Congress.
Then came the money line aimed at the other side’s campaign: blowing a billion on a losing campaign full of celebrities, she wrote, is still hurting them.
The whole back half of the list belongs to the Barbz. Nicki called her fanbase the Queen’s army, said they are smarter than their faves and their haters combined, and promised they will not be gaslit by the fake media — closing with the claim that there’s a reason people say the Barbz are the smartest fanbase on earth.
It is not her first list of the day, either. An earlier “Couple things” post on Wednesday started with the same points before closing on a different run of lines — including “I don’t vote, I VETO” — in a screenshot that has been circulating all evening.
The numbers say the timeline heard her: the 9:01 PM post passed 486,000 views in under an hour, with more than 17,900 likes and 3,600 replies and counting.
For context: the Associated Press called the Senate for the Democrats late Tuesday night and the House early Wednesday, giving Democrats full control of Congress for the first time since 2023 — although the new Congress does not actually sit until January, which is the technicality Nicki’s first point is standing on. Trump remains president; as of tonight, he just has a Congress run by the other party waiting for him.
