Before Halftime, Lil Baby Was In An Apron Handing Out Free Wings In The West End
Lil Baby’s Saturday in Atlanta started long before the Hawks tipped off. Hours before he took center court at State Farm Arena, Baby was in the West End — in a red American Deli apron, behind the counter, handing out free wings.

The occasion was the American Deli x WHAM “FRESH Drop” pop-up at the chain’s West End location (840 Oak St SW), running noon to 5 p.m. to celebrate the release of FRESH. American Deli put the first 500 fans on Baby’s tab: free WHAM Wings fan meals built around his own order — lemon pepper wet plus mild, ranch and fries — with a live DJ and limited-edition collab merch on site.
Baby did not just lend his name to it. Attendee video shows him pulling up in a red Ferrari, tying on the apron, working the counter, posing for pictures and signing autographs — including novelty $100 bills with his own face on them. Outside, the line wrapped behind barricades while FRESH vinyl moved at the merch tent.
Put the whole day together and it is a hometown rollout done right: feed the neighborhood in the afternoon, headline halftime in the same city that night (our halftime coverage: https://www.itsbizkit.com/lil-baby-turns-hawks-halftime-into-a-fresh-celebration-at-state-farm-arena/). FRESH is out now via Quality Control and Motown.
