Wifisfuneral Fires Back At Ski Mask Over Jenesis Sanchez Date, Drops Wild Allegations About X’s Family
A date night just reopened one of the deepest wounds in hip-hop — and now two of XXXTentacion’s own Members Only brothers are going at each other in public.

It started when Wifisfuneral posted about going on a date with Jenesis Sanchez, the mother of XXXTentacion’s son. For a lot of fans, anything touching X’s family is sacred ground, and the pushback came fast. The loudest voice was Ski Mask The Slump God, one of X’s closest friends. Ski Mask reacted on X, accusing Wifisfuneral of having once tried to do voodoo on XXXTentacion, and calling the date move weird and disrespectful toward his late friend.
Wifisfuneral answered on his Instagram Stories, and he did not dodge the voodoo claim. “I did not put no voodoo or nothing on that man,” he wrote, adding that everyone saw how X passed and that it obviously was not voodoo. He said he would gain nothing from something like that and would never play with another person that way.
Then he laid out his history with Jenesis. According to Wifisfuneral, the two have known each other since they were 13 and dated until 2016. After that, he says, they had no contact at all for 10 years — they simply ran into each other, reconnected, and picked up from there. Nothing, he insists, was done for clout or attention.
From there, Wifisfuneral turned the spotlight back on Ski Mask with a round of allegations of his own — and it is important to be clear that these are Wifisfuneral’s claims, not proven facts. Wifisfuneral alleged that Ski Mask told someone in his own camp that he wanted to pursue Jenesis himself shortly after X died. Wifisfuneral also alleged that Ski Mask was involved with X’s aunt and tried to pursue X’s mother. And he alleged that Ski Mask once believed X was trying to “sacrifice” him. None of those claims has been backed up with proof.
Ski Mask got the last word for now. Replying on his Instagram Story, he framed Wifisfuneral’s response as throwing allegations at the wall to see what sticks.
The backdrop makes all of this heavier. XXXTentacion was killed on June 18, 2018. His son with Jenesis Sanchez, Gekyume, was born on January 26, 2019 — a child who never got to meet his father. Ski Mask was one of X’s closest friends and collaborators, and all three artists came up through the Members Only collective. That is why a date post turned into a public war of words: for the people who loved X, this was never just about a date.
