Kodak Black Is In GTA 6 — Rockstar’s Launch Photos Put Yak In Vice City
Vice City just got a real one. Rockstar Games dropped a fresh batch of Grand Theft Auto VI launch photos, and according to Hip-Hop Wired, one of them confirms what fans were hoping: Kodak Black is in the game.

The shot shows Kodak in a club setting, and the details are unmistakable. Hypebeast points out he’s holding a cup stamped with the logo of Jack of Hearts, one of the clubs that keeps surfacing in the game’s marketing, and other coverage caught the face tattoos and his signature 1800 Block chain, a nod to his Pompano Beach neighborhood. GTA is famous for satirizing real people, not casting them, which makes an actual appearance from Yak a rare move. Rockstar still hasn’t spelled out the size of his role — whether he’s playing himself, voicing a character or popping up for one scene — and AllHipHop notes the studio hasn’t officially identified the figure in its gallery.
The music is part of the package too. Hip-Hop Wired reports Kodak’s music will feature in the game, and that Miami legends Trina and Trick Daddy — the Slip-N-Slide duo — will host one of the in-game radio stations players can tune into while cruising Leonida. AllHipHop adds that Kodak’s older music was previously confirmed for GTA VI, so his voice was already headed to the game before his face showed up.
The fit is obvious. GTA VI brings the series back to Leonida and Vice City, Rockstar’s fictional spin on Florida and Miami, and Kodak is Florida rap through and through. Putting him in the clubs of Vice City is exactly the kind of local detail this rollout has been built on.
The rest of the gallery shows off protagonists Jason and Lucia and the world around them, and it may be the last look Rockstar gives before release. Pre-load for GTA VI begins November 10, and the game launches November 19.
Two weeks out, the countdown is real — and Yak is on the guest list.
